Student Shadow Day at Wetherbee
Dr. Ada Ramos, Principal of the Wetherbee School became a student for a day while "shadowing" a student schedule. She said it was great to experience the student perspective, leave behind the walkie talkie and even wear the uniform.

Community Spirit at Parthum
Parthum Elementary Student Council offered Candy Grams for sale at the recent Parthum Report Card Night. Families met with teachers, had the chance to learn about many local community resources, and find some great books at the Scholastic Book Fair as well. Thank you to all the staff and organizations who participated.

Wetherbee Performs at 2024 Tree Lighting
Wetherbee School students were joined on stage by Mayor Brian A DePeña during the annual City of Lawrence Christmas Tree Lighting event. Students performed a medley of holiday songs to entertain the crowd.

The Guilmette is Thankful for
This was the inspiration on their mural at the recent Guilmette Educational Complex Friendship Dinner where families were able to write on this mural what they are thankful for. One wrote: I'm grateful for my Mom, Dad, brother and aunt. Another wrote: I'm thankful for my family and friends that care for me and love me.

Superintendents Scholar Award Fall 2024
Four LHS Senior Scholars were recognized, with a special award from the Massachusetts Association of Superintendents, during the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Pictured left to right are Seniors Saul Santos, Lesley Hernandez, Deputy Superintendent Carlos Matos, Seniors Angelica Castillo and Celine Bran. Congratulations to these Seniors for their pursuit of excellence in their High School careers.
