First Ever Vacation Language Academy Success

The Multilingual Learners Department launched the first-ever April Vacation Language Academy, designed to support students who enrolled later in the school year by providing intensive instruction to help them build their language skills. Roughly 40 grade 3–8 students from around the district participated in the academy, held at Wetherbee and Guilmette schools. Lawrence Public Schools is proud to serve this diverse group of learners, welcoming students from Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Philippines!
